On the edge of the sky
Black fading moth
Way before it fell in the womb
Better let it play on the tongue
Over seaside
Tall waves run amok
Later came the greater unknown
Later came the greater undone
I chased at the cracks
I don’t wanna let in the fake
We’re burning in the season of lie
Eventhough it fades
She’s breaking the shards
Fire in my belly erupts
Way to let it feed in the numb
Finally deflated and numb
Sometime
All I need is a riot
Through dead end wires
Hold them down
On our way up to Zion
My heads in the garden
In the garden
We’ve been here before
Through feathers and down
Pull the wool on my eyelids
Breaking the sur
And the waves undivided
In the shadows, a riot
Swallowed us up
Lay low in the hives
Black fading bark
Holding white blade in her arm
Hold the white flailing and gone
Soon in awhile
Wearing black feathers and down
Before the white fade into shards
Before the white fades on the vase
Sometimes
All i need is riot
Through shadows and wires
Hold them down
With the radio silence
My heads in the garden
Knock em down
Eventhough if it goes nowhere out there
And we don’t way before I deny it
All the faces in riot
And go..
We’ve been here before
Though shadow some times
Some kind of radiant low
Breaking the sur
Shredded the doubt
In the belly of Zion
With some radiant fall
Swallow us up
Pull the wool on my eyelids
Sometime wait alone
Breaking the sur
Winsome and winning indie pop songs on the latest from The Chairman Dances, where erudite lyrics are cradled by gorgeous arrangements. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 30, 2023
A solid debut from a promising band, Golden Head is one hell of a first statement. My favourite pick would be Morrigan, the track truly highlights everything Sol Ether has to offer. Deeply mystical work that resonates on a subconscious level, appealing to instincts and fears rather than betting on shock value. And those vocals - it’s pure primal rage
