I look up, long facing, shadow chasing, over the wall
I look up, outpaced, come clean, all facing down in the mud
A Chicago state, don’t waste no trace for riding along
That’s why I go front place, stood out of the mould
In the odds and against, the power placing I didn’t know
The bends won’t mind in case the night and we burst to flames
Worst case all my old traces wipe all over the remain
Well the silence stood always creep up and coming too low
And we’re always build back up so many times it outgrown
No one hears you now
No one dares to shout, no right nor wrong
Scatter ready to blow
Good old days, I hear you creeping up in the mind
And good old days, All over before coming around
It’s ok for right always for means to come
Spider webs to comb
I face old traces when I’m all broken up
As you are
Let’s burn this crooked old vine, Eraser
Winsome and winning indie pop songs on the latest from The Chairman Dances, where erudite lyrics are cradled by gorgeous arrangements. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 30, 2023
A solid debut from a promising band, Golden Head is one hell of a first statement. My favourite pick would be Morrigan, the track truly highlights everything Sol Ether has to offer. Deeply mystical work that resonates on a subconscious level, appealing to instincts and fears rather than betting on shock value. And those vocals - it’s pure primal rage
